How we test?

Each gaming keyboard we purchase is unboxed and tested by one of our in-house team over the course of a few weeks. We will use the keyboards not only for gaming, but also to work – writing content, send E-mails, social networking, basically to do everything. During which time, we will consider the following:

Design – the size and weight, how many keys does the keyboard include, RGB lighting from a user experience perspective (per key or entire keyboard), keycap size, texture and material, how the switches feel and noise of the keyboard. When it comes to design, everyone has their own preference and taste, we try and keep things unbiased by keeping our eyes on the specific criteria mentioned above.

Features – does the keyboard include RGB, USB pass-through, audio hub, macro keys, media keys, game mode, customisation options. There are plenty of features to look out for, through our testing we will consider how useful each feature is for both gaming and everyday use.
